Willow House - Lemon Blueberry Bread (YUM)!
Today I made the new Lemon Blueberry Bread that was just introduced by Willow House. Let me say - YUMM-O! It was moist with a mild lemon flavor and of course it had the ever delicious blueberries in the bread too. I was enjoying it so much I had to tell myself to stop eating it.
If you want an easy but delicious recipe that tastes like you made it completely from scratch and spent a lot of time in the kitchen, this is for you. You can see from the directions below how simple this is and you can mix it up in no time.

Since the whole family enjoyed it I'm just hoping there is some of this lemon blueberry bread left for my breakfast in the morning.

Willow House - Snow Day!
I've been snowed in for a few days (iced in may be more like it). I haven't even had cabin fever; I love being home enjoying my family and my home. I'm so glad that as a Willow House consultant I can work from home and enjoy my boys on days like this (or weeks like this as is the case now). Here are a few fun pictures from our snow adventures.

I'd do this week over again in a heartbeat! As a northern girl living in the south, bring on the snow!
My husband and 3 boys ready to head down the "big" hill.
Here is my husband and I on the same sled. That was fun (and hilarious)!
This is looking down our street; it stayed like that for several days.
In the south we don't handle snow and ice very well without snow plows.I'd do this week over again in a heartbeat! As a northern girl living in the south, bring on the snow!

Willow House - Entertaining: A Lost Art?
I recently heard that entertaining is a lost art. Oh, that is so sad but if you think about it, how much to people entertain in their homes these days. Don't allow entertaining to be a lost art in your home. Entertaining doesn't have to be fancy smancy. It can be as simple as having friends over for dessert or even a snack one evening. Of course, you can do the full course meal deal too but if you haven't entertained in quite a while, start simple.
Did you know that a serving tray says welcome and is a great way to be hospitable. Most of the time a great get-together starts with a tray. Let me share some of the beautiful trays Willow House offers. Can you say oh, la, la! Have a great tray and you are on your way to keeping the art of entertaining in your home. Which tray is your favorite?

Willow House - A Great Getaway
If you are like me, I love my family over the moon and back but it is certainly nice to have a girls getaway every now and then. This past weekend I had a girls weekend thanks to Willow House. I went to our annual leadership experience and not only had fun with my Willow House friends but also saw and heard fantastic decorating tips and tricks. I had to share some of my favorite pictures with you.
The first is our brand new Parisian Ottoman Tray. I love this tray turned upside down used as a cake stand. However, who doesn't love a good tray that can do double duty (upside down or right side up). This functional Parisian Tray matches the Willow House Parisian Luminaries. You may remember I did a tutorial on the luminaries here.
Speaking of trays, one of my new favorite Willow House products is a set of three platters. Yes, you get all three of these in a set called the Riverstone Stacking Platters. Don't you love the color combination on these. Love, Love, Love them!
Another favorite is the Lincoln Village Planter. Plants can make your home feel so welcoming whether at the front door or in your house. This planter is large and oh so beautiful with its verdigris finish and golden accents. I love it so much, I came home with one. Thanks Willow House; another reason I love being a consultant is the free products!
I always love tablescape ideas as well as mantel ideas. Here are two beautiful examples.
I love the way our product showcase groups items. For instance, see this entire buffet and wall shelf. It all works so well together functionally but also is beautiful.
Another favorite new Willow Hosue product is the Amelia Thimble Domes. Can you say a.dor.a.ble? To top it off I actually was served this cute cupcake on the left as one of our desserts at our winter white dinner night.
Last but not least is the friendships I have with fellow Willow House consultants. Love these ladies!
